The Jinsur project is highly cusomizable and extensible Framework which can be divided into various subcategories:

• The Core Jinsur Platform
  The Core Jinsur Platform specifies the general behaviour of any application running with this platform. The core platform could be used to make any application you can think of. It is basically an web platform, conforming the J2EE standard.
• The Jinsur Connector API
  The Jinsur Connector API is a API form mapping external EIS (Enterprise Information Systems) to the internal database of the Jinsur Platform. Using this API the Jinsur Platform is able to connect to any kind of information system. The Connector API conforms the Connector API of Sun's J2EE platform.
• The Jinsur Basic Utilities Set
  The Jinsur Basic utilities set defines a set of utilities usefull when writing components for the Jinsur platform. It can also be used to see how you could add 3rd party tools to the jinsur platform (LDAP for user authentication, etc).
• The Jinsur Basic Insurance Set
  The Jinsur Basic Insurance Set is a Set of tools common to all insurance companies. It defines basic set's of application components. This components are EJB components so any application ca later plug to the services exposed by the Insurance services.
